The right to an appeal is an important part of the judicial system. If one or more parties believe errors were made in the initial trial, a system is in place to review those errors. An appeal matter requires careful research and the ability to follow the specific rules and requirements of the appeals process. I have handled over 20 appeals in my career, including two published cases. My experience in appellate law allows me to honestly advise my clients about their chances for success and about what to expect from the process.

Appellate courts are designed to correct errors, not to review and challenge the underlying facts of the case.
